Alcohol Ink Fireworks by Kelly Kronowski

Celebrate Independence Day or other special occasion with these colorful Alcohol Ink fireworks! Learn how to make Alcohol Inks pop on Matte Black Alcohol Ink Cardstock when combined with Snow Cap Mixative in this festive tutorial.

Instructions

Alcohol lnk Fireworks Step 1

Step 1: Place 2-3 drops of Snow Cap Mixative on Matte Black Alcohol Ink Cardstock.  Add 1-2 drops of Alcohol Blending Solution to Mixative. Hold a large straw approximately 1" above Mixative and blow through straw to spread Mixative. Holding the straw close to the surface helps to create "legs" in the ink. Repeat 2 more times on surface.

Step 2: Apply 1-2 drops of Alchemy Alcohol Pearls to surface. Blow into straw to move ink. Repeat in 2 additional areas on surface.

Step 3: Apply multiple drops of Crimson Alcohol Ink on top of 1 of the Snow Cap bursts. Blow through the straw to spread ink. Repeat as desired. Apply multiple drops of Indigo and Sailboat Blue Alcohol Ink to the remaining Snow Cap bursts. Blow through the straw to spread inks.  Repeat as desired.

Step 4: Place a few drops of Silver Mixative to Craft Sheet. Add 1-2 drops of Alcohol Blending Solution.  Dip the end of a Distress Splatter Brush into Silver Mixative. Splatter Silver Mixative over surface by flicking the bristles together.

Step 5: Arrange the words "Let's Celebrate!" from the Letter It Party Clear Stamp set onto the bottom right of the project.

Step 6: Place words onto an acrylic stamping block and ink stamps with Grey Emboss It Ink.

Alcohol lnk Fireworks Step 7

Step 7: Stamp onto surface.  Sprinkle stamped image with Ranger White Embossing Powder. Remove access onto scrap paper and return to jar. Heat to melt powder with a Ranger Heat It Craft Tool.
