The newest Dina Wakley MEdia Journal is finally here, and it’s time to test it out with all of our favorite mixed media techniques!
Step 1: With a paintbrush, spread acrylic paint across a page in the Ledger Journal.
Step 2: Add collage tissue to the page using Gel Medium. After the Gel Medium dries, add gloss across the page. Spray some water on the gloss to let it spread.
Step 3: While the gloss is drying, stamp a few square tags with moon images using black Archival Ink.
Step 4: Using contrasting colors to those used on the page, add a thin layer of gloss to the stamped tags.
Step 5: Using a mini blending tool, add stenciling across the page. Then, with a Stabilo all pencil, add journaling as well.
Step 6: Stamp a few images and phrases to use as a focal point onto white cardstock and cut them out.
Step 7: Spread a thin line of Media Glue along the edges of the back of one of the tags. Add a couple extra dollops in the middle as well. With the glue side down, press firmly to adhere the tag to the page.
Step 8: Using the Media Glue, add your focal point images and phrases to the page. Finish the page off with some splatters!
