This is one colorful creation you don’t want to miss!

Instructions

Hello there crafty friends! It’s Cheiron Brandon here sharing a card I have created with the newest product in the Distress line - Distress Spritz! If you have not seen or heard of this before, you are going to want to try it out. This new spray adds colorful shimmer to your favorite Distress products and will work over all of them (except the Distress Crayons, which will resist it). The new Spritz is meant to go over color and that is what we will do today by using them over a blended Distress Ink Panel.

Step 1: Gather your supplies for your card panel. You will need Distress Watercolor cardstock. You will also need Distress Spritz, Distress Inks and Distress Watercolor Pencils in Picked Raspberry, Fossilized Amber, and Twisted Citron.

Step 2: Use a foam blending tool to blend the Fossilized Amber ink onto your cardstock panel. Use more than you think you will want as some of it will get covered up with the blending of the remaining colors.

Step 3: Repeat by blending with Picked Raspberry and then Twisted Citron Distress Inks.

Step 4: Place your panel inside a Splat Box and lay down the labels stencil. Spray the Fossilized Amber Distress Spritz over the Fossilized Amber ink, trying to avoid overspray on the stencil. Repeat using Picked Raspberry over the Picked Raspberry ink, then do the same with the Twisted Citron over the Twisted Citron ink.

Step 5: Let dry or dry your panel with a heat tool.

Note how shiny the spray is over the ink.

Step 6: Stamp the greeting from the Abstract Florals panel using Distress Archival Ink in Black Soot.

Step 7: Stamp the flower from the Abstract Florals panel using Embossing Ink.

Step 8: Emboss the flower with white embossing powder, heat emboss and cut out, leaving a border around the edge. Adhere to card.

Step 9: Add some white splatter to the panel using Distress Paint in Picket Fence. Let dry, or dry with a heat tool.

Step 10: Scribble on the flower with Distress Watercolor Pencils, Picked Raspberry, Fossilized Amber, and Twisted Citron. Adhere the panel to a card base.

I hope you had fun creating this card with me today! I think you'll love these new Spritz just as much as I do. They are perfect for adding shine to your card making and all other projects.
