Hello there crafty friends! It’s Cheiron Brandon here with a set of notecards with a wintery theme that are super fun and easy to create. What will you do with all of these cards? Use them as thank you notes, to tuck a last minute gift card into, or to send to those friends who don’t celebrate Christmas!
Step 2: Cut your Distress Watercolor Panels to 3 3/4 x 3 3/4 and stamp the image and greeting in Black Soot Distress Archival Ink.
Step 3: Add a little color and shading to your images using the Distress Watercolor Pencils and then blend the color out with a Detailer Waterbrush.
Step 4: Ink the edges of the card panel by applying Antique Linen Distress Ink using a foam blending tool.
Step 5: Cut panels of Black Idea-ology Kraftstock to 3 7/8 x 3 7/8.
Step 6: Mount the stamped panels onto the Black Idea-ology Kraftstock.
Step 7: Add Collage Medium to parts of the image (the snow, snow line, snow on the bench).
Step 8: Add the Rock Candy Distress Glitter over the wet collage medium and pour off. Let dry.
Step 9: Add the completed panels to patterned papers that have been cut to 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 from the Idea-ology Christmas Backdrops pack. Add to a 4 1/4 square notecard.
I hope you enjoyed these little notecards and have some ideas for how to quickly build your card stash for the holiday season. Wishing everyone a joyous holiday season and all the best for 2023!
