Instructions 

When playing in the Classics Journal on Kraft paper, I often find less is more. It’s so easy to construct a quick, stunning page when you have a great journal and beautiful stamps to create with. 

Step 1: In your Classics Journal, find a kraft page to create on. 

Step 2: Stamp the dress from Ladies Who Lunch onto some printer paper. You will use this as a mask when stamping. 

Step 3: Stamp the dress from Ladies Who Lunch at the bottom and a little to the left of your kraft page. Then place the mask you created, on top. 

Step 4: With the mask in place, stamp the image again on each side of the masked image. 

Step 5: Having the mask cover the first image makes the next two you stamp appear as if they are standing behind the first. 

Step 6: Using the small Dylusions Journaling Block, trace a wavy line along the right side as shown in the picture above. Cut (avoiding the dress) along the drawn line. 

Step 7: Paint some white circles onto your page using the large Dylusions Coin Stencil and some Dylusions White Linen Paint. 

Step 8: Write a quote at the top of your page. Here a Letter It Fineliner 04 is used to write the quote and then parts are colored in with a Dylusions Paint Pen in Funky Fuchsia. 

Step 9: Grab a black sheet of cardstock and using the same stencil trace some circles randomly and cut them out.  

Step 10: To create a wonky border along the right side of your page cut along the circles. Glue the black piece of paper to the back of the page you are working on. Using a the White Linen Dylusions Paint Pen you can draw some lines along the edge of the black page and then continue them onto the Kraft page in the Black Marble Dylusions Paint Pen. 

These Dylusions Couture stamps sure do create beautiful focal points with not a lot of extra needed.  

This allows for you to use the extra space to take note of something that may be on your mind. Maybe you want to document a special occasion or just jot down some thoughts. This time of year, you may wish to write about something you are grateful for.
