Instructions
Step 1:
Before starting your Faux Druzzy Necklace Project make sure that you gather all of your Supplies that you will need.
Step 2:
Using one of your mixing cups pour desired amount of German Glass Glitter. A little Glitter goes a long way.
Step 3:
Get your ICE Resin ready using your second mixing cup. When you make your Faux Druzzy you will only need a little ICE Resin so you don’t need to mix up much. Make sure your stir your ICE Resin 2 to 2 1/2 minutes.
Step 4:
Next you will slowly drop some ICE Resin into your German Glass Glitter using your stir stick. Adding a little ICE Resin at a time, I don’t recommend pouring your ICE Resin into the German Glass Glitter as you don’t want it to wet. The consistency should be as a WET SAND.
Step 5:
After you have your German Glass ready, gently add your mixture into your bezel. As you add your glitter use your stir stick to pack it into the corners. If you would like to add a Charm to your piece, this is the time to add it. The ICE Resin will act as a glue to hold your Charm in place. Gently push your charm into your glitter.
Step 6:
After you Faux Druzzy Piece has cured (about 5 to 6 hours) you can add your chain (of choice). You can use different metals for your work or keep the same to match. On this piece I have used a shiny Milan Bezel and a more dull bronze chain.
Step 7:
You will need one jump ring to attach your chain to your Milan Bezel.
Step 8:
Then you need to attach a jump ring at each chain end as well as your clasp.
Step 9:
If you would like to add a Bead Dangle to the end of your piece, you will need some wire and a few beads.
Step 10:
After you have made your dangle attach it with a jump ring. Optional: If you decide not to have a dangle on your Jewelry Piece you can snip the piece of the bottom of the bezel using your wire cutters. If it is sharp to touch after you have cut it off, you can file it lightly.
