Instructions

Cut a piece of 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ piece of Watercolor Paper.  Mist the surface of the paper with water.

Scribble Caribbean Blue Paint Dabber onto a craft sheet.  Mist the paint with water.  Mist enough water to make the paint watery.

 Use a broad paintbrush to apply the paint onto the wet cardstock.

Adjust the amount of water mixed with paint to adjust the opacity of the paint.  Apply several layers until you are pleased with the coverage.

Brush the edges of the Watercolor Cardstock with the Dabber tip of the Carribean Coast Paint Dabber.  Dry the paper with a heat tool.

Mist a second piece of paper with water.  Mix Electric Lime and Lily Pad Paint Dabber with water.  Brush the paint onto the Watercolor Cardstock.

Blot the excess paint and water with a dry cloth.  The cloth will smooth out any brush lines and add a blotted texture look.  Dry the cardstock with a heat tool.

Mist a third piece of Watercolor Paper with water.  Mix Pink Gumball Paint Dabber with water.  Brush the paint onto the Watercolor Cardstock.

 Toss Crinkle Ribbon around into the excess paint on the craft sheet.

Mist the ribbon generously with water to blend the paint.

 Wring out the ribbon with a dry cloth to remove excess water and paint.

Use a heat tool to dry the Watercolor Paper and ribbon.

Stamp a flower image twice on the green Watercolor Paper using Black Tie Dye Ink.

Stamp a flower image twice on the pink Watercolor Paper using Black Tie Dye Ink.

Cut out one complete flower from the green Watercolor Paper.  Cut out a few leaves from the second.

Use a paintbrush to add accents to the leaves and stem with more paint.  Mix less water with the Lily Pad paint to make the color more intense.

 Adhere the cut out leaves to the complete flower image.

Mix a combination of Pink Gumball and Lemon Twist Paint Dabbers with water.  Use a paintbrush to apply the paint to areas of the two flowers.  Use a dry cloth to blot the paint from any areas that get too wet.  Use a heat tool to dry the paint.

Cut out one complete flower.  Cut out accent pieces from the second stamped flower.

Adhere the complete flower over the green flower.  Adhere the flower pieces to the top of the flower.

Highlight the flower with more paint with less water as desired.

 Wrap the Watercolor Paper with Crinkle Ribbon.  Add a blow to the left side of the card.  Adhere the Watercolor Paper piece to a card made from Kraft Cardstock.

Adhere the flower to the front of the card next to the bow.  (I ended up snipping the leaf part off and adhering it next to the flower.  I also added a second flower stem.)

Stamp a sentiment on a scrap of Watercolor Paper.  (I used the backside of my pink piece since it had some fun random paint spots.)

Brush the edge of the sentiment piece with the Caribbean Blue Paint Dabber to add contrast.

Add a Tiny Attacher staple to each side of the the sentiment.  Adhere the sentiment to the front of the card over the ribbon band with Adhesive Foam Tape.

Check out how pretty the ribbon turns out when colorized with paint!  It is more opaque and has wonderful specks of color!

Adding layers of stamped image is an easy way to add simple dimension to your stamped image.
