It’s hard to believe Christmas is just around the corner! We’re kicking off the holiday season with a Dylusions Creative Dyary Challenge! Every day we’ll share a prompt to help you stay organized as well as document the season. So grab your Creative Dyary and follow along! This blog will be updated daily with the latest prompt!
Day 1: Decorate your Dylusions Creative Dyary Cover.
Day 2: Mark Your Dates for Week 1 (Stamp, Write, Sticker- the choice is yours!)
Day 3: Create a Gift List page! I borrowed a page from my Dyalog Grid insert book to keep track of my gift list and check off the boxes once complete. Have a big list? Use an entire spread or create a page that folds out.
Day 4: Now that we worked on our gift lists, let’s decorate the front pocket to hold our receipts! I’m always losing gift receipts so having a designated place for them will definitely help this year.
Day 5: Today I filled in my first week with all the things I got done so far and all the things I need to do this weekend like buy and decorate a tree and rake the leaves before hanging Christmas lights! I used Dyary Stickers and Dyalog Stamps to decorate my page and add a splash of color!
Day 6: Create a gift wish list! I used an insert page from the Dyalog Grid Insert Book and decorated it with Dylusions stamps that I cut out and colored in with Ink Spray filled water brushes.
Day 7: Plan your Christmas Cookie menu! I used Dylusions Black Marble Paint to create a chalkboard effect to write my cookie menu and wrote using the Ranger White Opaque Pen.
Day 8: Get ready for the new week by stamping or writing the dates on your next weekly spread!
Day 9: Create a page that focuses on Holiday Visits.
Day 10: The days are flying by! Fill in your weekly spread with this week's plans. I used Dylusions Creative Dyary Stickers to help decorate my weekly spread.
Day 11: Create a page about the best non-monetary gift you ever received. I added Dylusions Pomegranate Seed Paint through a stencil over a pre-printed background and accented the page with the Letter It Stamp sentiment "blessed" embossed in Green Tinsel.
Day 12: Create a cookie 🍪 grocery shopping list. I used stickers from the Dylusions Creative Dyary Sticker book to create shopping lists for each of my cookies I plan to bake this weekend. I’ll check off each ingredient to make sure I have everything.
Day 13: Create a page about your must-see Christmas movies. Christmas moves are a tradition in my family and watching some our favorites are a must! Today, I kept it simple by gluing in a page from my Dyalog Grid Insert to list my favorite movies. I can check off the ones I watched during the season.
Day 14: Create a page that highlights your favorite Christmas Ornaments. I plan on adding photos of my 2 favorite ornaments to the boxes I pulled from the Dyary Sticker Book.
Day 15: Stamp the dates in on your weekly spread this week!
Day 16: Fill in your weekly spread with this week's plans. I used Letter It Stamps and Creative Dyary Stickers to help decorate by page.
Day 17: Create a Winter Bucket List. I painted my page with After Midnight paint and used Periwinkle Blue with the Dylusions Snowflake stencil. The finishing touch was a blast of Periwinkle Shimmer Spray (opps! I added some to my Christmas movie list). I then wrote my bucket list in a Letter It Silver Metallic Marker. I absolutely love the glisten this page has!
Day 18: Create a list of your favorite Christmas carols. The closer it gets to Christmas the more I want to listen to my favorite Christmas Songs!
Day 19: Write a letter to Santa!
Day 20: Create a page sharing your New Years Resolutions!
Day 21: Get ready for Christmas Week! Fill in the dates on your weekly spread.
Day 22: Christmas week is here! Fill in your agenda for the week. I used Letter It Fineliner Pens and Creative Dyary Stickers to decorate my page.
Day 23: Tomorrow is Christmas Eve! Create a page focusing on your Christmas Eve traditions.
Day 24: Merry Christmas Eve! Thank you so much for following along in our Countdown to Christmas Creative Dyary Challenge. Today's prompt is to create a page focusing on your favorite Christmas memories.
