Antiquities Tag Journal Page by Laura Dame

Creating tags is a fantastic way to get creative! Laura Dame used the Antiquities Collage Paper, Rattan Stencil, and Vintage Moon Faces Stamp to create this layered and expressive journal page. Tags make quick, colorful additions to your journal—perfect for experimenting and playing with new ideas!

Instructions

Making tags is such a fun, easy way to get creative, and they are great for making quick, colorful journal pages.

Step 1: Make little puddles of glosses by pouring various colors onto a craft sheet. Grab some tags and drag them through the puddles to add some color to your tags. Here Lemon, Magenta, and Cheddar were used.

Step 2: With a texture tool, add some white gloss to the tags in random places, letting the gloss spread while also making some linear marks.

Step 3: Add a contrasting color to the tags with a stencil. Here Turquoise and the Rattatan Coaster stencil were used.

Step 4: Go through the Collage Collective or Collage Sparks to find some papers to use to add focal collages to your pages. Cut out focal images from the Antiquities collage tissue, and build up the layers on your tags. Use a combination of staples & Media Glue to adhere your focal collages.

Step 5: Lets add these tags to our journals! But first, we’ll make a fun background. Pour two gloss colors on your craft sheet, then dip your stencil into the puddles. Print the stencil onto a page in the ledger journal. Here the Rattatan Coaster stencil was used with Turquoise and Sapphire glosses.

Step 6: Now, add your tags to the page with Media Glue. Add some stamped words, and splatters to finish off the page.
