Sometimes it’s fun to play with our products in a way we wouldn’t normally use them. It’s great when our supplies can be versatile; like Dylusions Ink Sprays! 

Step 1: Turn to a blank page in your Classics Journal. Pour some Dylusions Bubblegum Pink Ink Spray into a palette or small dish. Dip a piece of make up wedge or sponge into the ink. Very lightly brush the wedge across the stencil Tyres. You do not want to push down on the sponge as this will release too much ink. A light hand works best. Feel free to practice on a scrap piece of paper.

Step 2: Place the stencil Martha’s Mat in a box or on a different page in your journal for later use. Spray the stencil with Island Parrot Dylusions Ink Spray then lightly spritz with water.  Flip the stencil over pressing down on different areas of your journal page. 

Step 3: Pour some of the Island Parrot Ink Spray into the palette or small dish and dilute with a little bit of water. We are going for a little bit of a softer look.

Step 4: Using the Dylusions paint brush, color in some of the areas of your journal page. Leave some white space on your page as well.

Step 5: Find these images in your Dylusions Collage Sheets Set 4.

Step 6: Glue the images down on your page as shown.

Step 7: With the Black Marble Paint Pen scribble a frame around your page. Then add a quote using Dylusions Bigger Back Chat. The quote used here comes from Set 2, “Please don’t interrupt me while I’m trying to ignore you.”

I really like how using the sprays this way creates a softer look. 

So the next time you pull out your supplies, think of a different way to use them. You just may create a new technique that becomes a favourite!
