Instructions

Making custom backgrounds is always fun when making cards, I’m sharing how to make Metallic Texture Paste a custom color using Archival Re-Inkers. It’s so easy and fun!

Step 1: On a craft mat, mix some Metallic Texture Paste (3 separate piles) with the Archival Re-Inkers: Paradise Teal, Vibrant Fuchsia and French Ultramarine. Lay the Treading Hearts stencil on a piece of A2 Stark White cardstock.

Step 2: Scoop small amounts of texture paste onto the spatula and swipe it across the stencil in small sections, take another color of paste and lightly go over an open area and slightly rub it across the existing color to get a fun blend. Do this until the background is covered. Then get a tiny bit of paste on the tip of the spatula and rub it across the opposite colors for a little extra something on the background.

Step 3: Stamp the sentiments from the Family stamp set with Emboss It Clear ink and sprinkle on Princess Gold Embossing Powder, heat with the heat tool until melted. Trim out the sentiments.
