Instructions
Step 1: Start with a piece of cardstock cut to 4 ¼ x5 ½. Place the Simon Hurley create. Back Splash stencil over the top. Start at the bottom of the yardstick piece and use a Mini Ink Blending Tool with Foam, ink it with Rosy Cheeks, above that ink it with Traffic Cone and then finish it with Over the Moon. Leave the top of the card white and not inked as shown.
Step 2: Taking another piece of cardstock cut to the same dimension as above, Flower Maker stencil and place it at the bottom right of the cardstock piece. I inked up the flower with Rosy Cheeks and Over the Moon for the centers of the petals.
Step 3: Line up the second set of petals and ink them the same as you did in Step 2.
Step 4: Line up the first flower center from the stencil and ink that with Over the Moon.
Step 5: Line up the second flower center from the stencil and ink that with Traffic Cone.
Step 6: Mask off the flowers to ink the leaves from the stencil. Start by using Overzealous, then for the darker parts of the leaves use Later Gator.
Step 7: Cut 1 inch off the left side of the card. Do not discard that piece, you will need it later for this card.
Step 8: Using a ruler, line it up so it meets up with the flower and draw a light pencil line meeting up to the flower on the top and bottom (don't draw on the flower). Use a paper trimmer and cut on that line you drew, and cut up to the flower, do not cut the flower. Then use scissors to cut around the flower and leaves. Discard the cut piece. Erase any pencil marks you might have left.
Step 9: Use Simon Hurley create. Stark White cardstock and stamp two sentiments, one from the Space Training stamp set and the other from Trampoline Friends stamp set. Use Overzealous and Over the Moon to stamp the sentiments.
Step 10: Adhere the back panel to an A2 sized card base (Stark White cardstock) using Multi Medium Matte glue. Then adhere the two side panels with Ranger Adhesive Foam Tape. I added foam tape and Multi Medium Matte to the back of the sentiments and placed those on the card. I finished with a few sequins scattered around the card.
