Simon Hurley create. New Home Card by Jess Francisco

Join Jess Francisco as she shows you how to make this sweet card using Simon Hurley create. Stamps, Stencils and Dye Inks. It's the perfect way to welcome someone to their new home.

Instructions

 

Simon Hurley New Home Card Step 1

Step 1: Use Jet Black Archival Ink to stamp the rug, couch, and potted plant images from the 'Welcome Home' stamp set on a piece of Stark White Cardstock.

 

 

Simon Hurley New Home Card Step 2

Step 2: Use Simon Hurley create. Dye Ink pads to 'swipe' color onto the images. If needed, mask or cover the other images so you only get color where you want it.

Step 3: Cut out each of the stamped images with a sharp pair of scissors.

 

 

Simon Hurley New Home Card Step 4

Step 4: Mask the bottom of a piece of cardstock (measuring 3.25 x 7.75) and place the 'The Loo' stencil on top. Use 'Breakup Blue' ink to blend through the stencil.

 

 

Simon Hurley New Home Card Step 5

Step 5: Mask the top of the card panel and stamp the “Splinter' background stamp in Grrr! Ink. Blend Grrr! Ink over top of the wood grain stamp to give the look of a wooden floor.

Step 6: Use Multi Medium Matte to attach the rug, couch, and potted plant to the card panel.

 

 

Simon Hurley New Home Card Step 7

Step 7: Stamp the sentiment 'Congrats on your new home' in Black Archival Ink.

 

 

Simon Hurley New Home Card Step 8

Step 8: Assemble your card. Attach the card panel to a white card base measuring 3.5 x 8 (when folded in half). You're done!
