Hi crafty friends! Who is ready for fall? I know I am! I’m looking forward to the cool weather and for all things pumpkins. In today's tutorial, I was inspired by fall! I used Astro Pastes for a fun autumn background and the Fall Sampler and Purrfect Cats stamps to create a playful card. I hope today’s tutorial gives you inspiration to do something fun and creative today! 

Step 1: Begin by creating an A2 card base out of Stark White card stock by trimming an 8½” x 11” piece of cardstock at 5 ½” and then scoring it at 4 ¼”. Next, trim a front panel measuring about 4” x 5 1/4” out of Tim Holtz Distress Black Heavystock. 

Step 2: On the front panel piece, use the Warped Circles stencil and Astro Pastes in Roar!, Crown Me, and Prom Queen to create the background. Then, put aside to dry. 

Step 3: Once background is dry, add Graphite Stickles and Graphite Liquid Pearls between the spaces of the circles in the background. Once the background is dry, glue the background to the card base. 

Step 4: On a piece of Stark White cardstock, stamp one of the cats from the Purrfect Cats stamp set with Jet Black archival ink and heat emboss with Clear embossing powder. Next, color the cat’s tongue with Bee Sting using a brush. Then, stamp one of the pumpkins from the Fall Sampler stamp set. Use Crown Me ink for the first pumpkin layer and Guppy ink for the next layer. 

Step 5: Next, use the coordinating dies from the Fall Sampler and Purrfect Cats die sets to die cut the images. Die cut extras and glue them together to add dimension. 

Step 6: Add Glossy Accents on the cat’s tongue and Marigold Liquid Pearls on the center of the flowers on the pumpkin. 

Step 7: On a piece of Tim Holtz Distress Black Heavystock, use white embossing powder to heat emboss sentiments from the Fall Sampler and Purrfect Cat stamp set. Then, use a trimmer to trim the sentiments to fit on the card. 

Step 8: Glue the cat and pumpkin images on the background and add foam adhesive to the sentiments and tape them on the card. Now, all that is left is to pair the card with a complimentary envelope. Now it’s ready to be sent to a loved one this fall season!
