Step 2: Lay your piece of cardstock on the inked background stamp and apply even pressure to transfer the ink to your cardstock. Carefully remove the cardstock from the background stamp.

Step 3: Pour Lemon Drop Speckle embossing powder over the ink while it’s still wet and tap off the excess. You can do this over a scrap piece of paper or a coffee filter so you can easily pour the extra back into the jar. Melt the embossing powder with a heat tool.

Step 4: Repeat the embossing process with the ‘you’re my main squeeze’ sentiment on black cardstock. Use a paper trimmer to trim down the sentiment.

Step 5: Stamp two lemon images on white cardstock using Ranger Archival Jet Black Ink. Use the coordinating ‘filler’ stamp with Shooting Star dye ink for the lemon that has been sliced.

Step 6: Apply Shooting Star dye ink directly to an acrylic block or craft sheet. Use a paint brush to pick up the ink and paint it onto the stamped cardstock. For a lighter color, spritz a little water on the ink before picking it up with the brush.

Step 7: Cut out the stamped images using a pair of sharp scissors. Apply foam tape to the back of each image.

Step 8: Attach the embossed background to a white A2 card base. Attach the sentiment strip to the embossed background, then remove the backing from the foam tape and adhere the lemons to the card. Just like that, your card is finished!
