Step 1: Using Simon’s Dye Ink pads, apply ink directly to the smaller rectangular Gel Plate from the three-piece set.  You can use any colors you’d like. Sidewalk Chalk, Rosy Cheeks, and Prom Queen were used here. 

Step 2: Use the Distress Sprayer to lightly coat the ink with water. The more water you add, the more muted the colors will be. Use the Brayer to spread the ink across the Gel Plate.

Step 3: Place the cardstock face down on the Gel Plate and ink. Smooth the paper with your hand to make sure it soaks up all the ink and water. Then, peel back the paper. Give the cardstock time to dry before moving on to the next step. 

Step 4: Use Archival Ink in Jet Black to stamp one side of the Lovely Lilies background on top of the watercolor background.  

Step 5: Use a sharp pair of scissors to trim around the edge of the stamped image. Trim the panel down to approximately 5.5 inches in height. Place foam tape on the back of this panel and mount it to an A2 sized card base made from Simon’s Stark White Cardstock. 

Step 6: Use the Ranger Anti-Static Pouch on a piece of black cardstock, then stamp ‘Happy Spring’ from the ‘Hoppy Easter’ stamp set in Clear Watermark Resist Ink. Pour Ranger’s Superfine Detail Embossing Powder on the stamped sentiment and tap off the excess. Melt the powder with a Heat Tool and buff off any remaining anti-static powder with a soft cloth to make the paper crisp and black again. 

Step 7: Place a piece of Foam Tape under the word ‘spring’ and use Multi Medium Matte to attach the other side to your popped up floral element. 

Step 8: Use Liquid Pearls in Dazzle to add accents to the card. Set the card aside to dry until the Liquid Pearls have hardened.
