I Can't Thank You Enough Card by Bobbi Smith

Bobbi Smith shares a beautiful thank you card featuring Letter It & Ranger Mixed Media Powders. Add layers of texture and dimension with texture paste, Distress Oxide and diecuts.

Instructions

Hi everyone, Bobbi here! I’m so happy to be with you on the Ranger Projects Page today. I’m sharing this fun Letter It Thank You Card tutorial! Hope you’ll join me.

Letter It I can't thank you enough step 1

Step 1: Lay the Ranger Letter It Stencil Flower Burst Stencil over a 4.25" x 5.5" sheet of Distress Watercolor Cardstock. Using a Palette Knife, spread a thin layer of Texture Paste Opaque Matte over the surface of the stencil. Carefully lift the stencil from watercolor cardstock. Submerge stencil and palette knife in a small dish of water, so the paste doesn’t dry on them.

Step 2: Working quickly while texture paste is still wet, sprinkle Ranger Mixed Media Powder in Bone around the outer portion of panel. Shake off excess and return to jar. Repeat process with Sea Mixed Media Powder for inner portion of panel. Let air dry.

Step 5: Pick up color from Distress Oxide Abandon Coral Ink Pad using Distress Blending Brush. Now swirl inked blending brush onto textured panel concentrating mostly in the center. Repeat process until you're happy with shading. This is going to give you different variations of the same color spray vs ink.

Shake off excess Embossing Powder and return to jar (it's very important to use the super fine detail embossing powder with this technique).
