Instructions 

Hi everyone, I am excited to share with you the magic of Distress Spritz, and how it can add fabulous shimmer and dimension to your projects! 

Step 1: Choose the dies you are going to work with, and trim some Distress Watercolor Cardstock to their sizes. 

Step 2: Then ink smoosh onto each piece with Distress Oxide ink pads in a variety of colors. Press and twist the pad to the craft sheet, then spritz with water to create droplets. Plop the Distress Watercolor Cardstock into the ink. Add as much ink as you would like. 

Step 3: Dry with the heat tool in between layers, and add some water droplets with the Distress Sprayer. 

Step 4: Choose a fun variety of colors. Having different greens with all of the greenery dies will help provide a nice variety. 

Step 5: Place all your dies on the coordinating inked cardstock pieces and die cut them.

Step 6: Spritz coordinating Distress Spritz Sprays onto the sentiment die cut. Dry with a heat tool.  

Step 7: Spritz coordinating Distress Spritz Sprays onto the wreath die cut. Dry with a heat tool. 

Step 8: Continue to Spritz coordinating Distress Spritz Sprays onto the other die cut pieces. Dry with a heat tool. If a die will be layered, choose either the top or the bottom layer to add Distress Spritz Spray. Or, choose a variety of colors for each layer. This way when you adhere them together they will set apart from one another and add dimension. 

Step 9: Die cut extra sentiment dies out of Distress Black Heavystock, and extra wreath dies out of Distress Kraft Heavystock. Stack these together with Distress Collage Medium to build up dimension. 

Step 10: For smaller pieces that you need to change the color, or add more detail to, adhere them to some low tack tape so that you can hold onto them. Then add/change the color with Distress Watercolor Pencils. 

Step 11: For the background, ink smoosh some Tumbled Glass Distress Spritz Spray onto a piece of 4.25” x 5.5” Distress Watercolor Cardstock. Spray the Distress Spritz Spray onto the craft sheet, then spray with water to create droplets. Plop the Distress Watercolor Cardstock into the ink. Add as much ink as you would like. Dry in between layers with a heat tool. 

Step 12: Add some water droplets with a Distress Sprayer. The Distress Spritz Sprays will react to water similarly as with Distress Inks/Oxides. Dry with a heat tool. 

Step 13: Unscrew the cap/spray nozzle to a bottle of Distress Spritz Sprays, tap the nozzle over your background to drop some splatters. Trim your background down to 4” x 5.25” and matte it onto silver metallic cardstock. 

Step 14: Assemble your wreath onto the background. Die cut a bow out of silver sparkle cardstock and add that to the wreath. For some additional sparkle using Distress Collage Medium add Distress Rock Candy here and there on the elements on the wreath. Fill in the holly berries with Christmas Red Stickles, and the center of the Poinsettia with Yellow Stickles.
