Whatever winter holidays you celebrate, when January rolls around, it couldn't hurt to have a few "Thank Yous" ready to roll. These cards combine Wendy Vecchi's beautifully clean graphic style with vintage and found papers.
Step 1: Alternately stamp "Merci" and the smaller heart from Wendy's Merci and More Stencil, Stamp & Die Set in Thistle Archival Ink on a piece of white cardstock slightly larger than an A2 card front, then trim it to 3.75 x 5".
Step 2: Use the circles stencil from the Thank You Stencil, Stamp & Die Set and Thistle Archival to cover a piece of French text paper with dots.
Step 3: Tear the stenciled book paper on a diagonal, and affix it to the righthand side of the Merci panel, with a layer of doilies sandwiched between. Ink the panel edges lightly with Periwinkle Archival and machine stitch around the perimeter, if desired.
Step 4: Apply Periwinkle Archival through the lotus stencil from the Bravo Stencil, Stamp & Die Set, then use the coordinating stamp (with Jet Black Ink) and diecut.
Step 5: Stamp "With Sincere Gratitude" in Watering Can Archival Ink on white cardstock and trim into a neat flag.

Step 6: Adhere the collaged panel to a piece of 4 x 5.25" periwinkle cardstock and affix the diecut lotus to a heart made of sheet music.
Step 7: Add the heart to the top right corner, over the stenciled dots, and mount the sentiment strip just below the flower. Attach the finished panel to a White Perfect Cardstock A2 Card.
Step 8: To make a second coordinating card, simply swap the Periwinkle and Thistle Archival Inks. Or branch out and try new combinations from Wendy's beautiful rainbow of signature Archival shades!
